When Ruby Soho first arrived in AEW, she tried to frame her departure from WWE as her being free and leaving a bad part of her life behind.
And yet, her recent comments regarding some of her former WWE co-workers suggest that she’s open to working with WWE in some capacity in the future.
Soho was part of a Q&A session at a wrestling convention in Europe called For The Love of Wrestling. At one point, she was asked what kind of dream matches she still wants to have and responded that she would want her and her Outcast stablemates to face the Damage CTRL trio of Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY.
“Alright, I’m gonna say something out loud. In this current moment, I would say (a dream match) is The Outcasts versus Damage CTRL.”

Additionally, Soho mentioned having some unfinished business with two wrestlers from Stardom, KAIRI and Mayu Iwatani, and wants to face them as well.
“So I worked for STARDOM for like three months prior to being signed and my favorite person to work with that I never got a singles match that I always wanted was Mayu (Iwatani). She’s absolutely incredible and all of those women are some of the most athletic women in the entire world and the most intimidating thing to walk into.
But Mayu is so talented and so amazing and KAIRI’s awesome too. I love her and I think I only had one singles match with her during the pandemic but I would absolutely love another one.”
Soho, under the ring name Heidi Lovelace, wrestled in Stardom in 2015. The closest she got to any title matches during that time was a failed shot at the Artist of Stardom Championship, which are that promotion’s six-woman tag titles.
That same Q&A also gained some attention due to Jungle Boy’s alleged behavior and demeanor causing him to come across in a much more negative light.
