The next step in the bitter rivalry between Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade will see each woman take on a main roster WWE Superstar next week!
Last week, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade appeared on the Grayson Waller Effect and spoke about their upcoming match at Halloween Havoc. Not only was it announced that they would be facing off in a Weapons Wild match after Waller spun the wheel to determine a stipulation, he also revealed that the friends-turned-rivals would be able to pick each other’s opponents on the October 18th episode. The entire WWE roster was fair game, meaning that main roster superstars could be tapped for competition.
On October 11th, Jade spoke to McKenzie Mitchell backstage about the stipulation, saying that she’d been in touch with a number of potential candidates and that the most difficult thing would be narrowing down who to pick. She then said that it must be hard for Perez to get in touch with anyone because no one ever liked her, but Mitchell was quick to correct Cora, saying that she’d spoken with Roxanne and that she had plenty of people getting in touch with her. Not only that, but she’ll be going to SmackDown on Friday in New Orleans.
This new information left Cora Jade in disbelief, and she frantically said that she needed to go make some phone calls, asking McKenzie if she had Ronda’s number.
Later in the episode, Jade confronted Mitchell again, saying that she’d just gotten off the phone with Rhea Ripley and that if Perez wanted to go to SmackDown, she’d go to Raw. It remains to be seen who both women will choose, but the cross-pollination between brands is showing no signs of slowing down and two main roster Superstars will appear next week on NXT.
