AJ Lee’s ‘Wrestling Daughters’ Show Their Support
Perez has been particularly vocal about her relationship with both AJ Lee and CM Punk. She has often called herself the wrestling daughter of the famous couple and has received support from both of them throughout her career. Last month, when Perez hit her finishing move, Pop Rox, on CM Punk during a live event in Manchester, England, Lee defended her actions by saying on social media that her daughter “has never done a single thing wrong in her entire life.”
Jade has also been open about how much Lee and Punk have influenced her career. The Chicago native has previously stated that she considers both wrestlers as major inspirations. Even after being released from WWE, she continues to show support for her wrestling parents.
