Ronda Rousey has had a busy 2022. Since returning in January and winning the Royal Rumble, Rousey has wrestled in 53 matches on and off television, holding an impressively high winning percentage of 77.8%.
With this winning percentage, she captured the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship twice, once from Charlotte Flair and once from Liv Morgan.
However, it seems that Ronda Rousey has even more on her plate outside of wrestling.
Ronda Rousey’s Surprising Business Venture Revealed
When she has time off from slamming opponents in the ring and forcing them into submission, Ronda Rousey owns and runs a Wagyu Beef Farm called Browsey Acres.
The name “Browsey Acres” looks to come from a surname combination of Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne. The Browsey Acres website talks about the couple’s story and the unique selling points of their product.
“What started as just 2.4 acres in California that Ronda Rousey, Travis Browne, and their beloved crew of animals have lived on since 2017 is now an experience that you can also become a part of.
The Browsey Acres mentality is simple: By purchasing our Fullblood Wagyu meat, you are making the life-changing decision of taking emotional responsibility for where your food comes from. That is what this is all about. That is how it started for Browsey Acres—with a much-loved Wagyu steer named Kobe.
That one of a kind feeling is something special Browsey Acres wants to share with you.”
The Browsey Acres website also features additional information about Rousey and Browne’s inspiration behind starting the company.
“Once Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne settled into Browsey Acres and made the choice to start a farm, they set out to live the sustainable lifestyle that they had always wanted for themselves. And now, they are sharing that lifestyle with the world in the form of their herd of Fullblood Wagyu cows.”
The farm’s speciality is Wagyu beef, which contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and more monounsaturated fats than other beef. This is said to give the meat more flavour.
Back in the world of wrestling, Ronda Rousey’s next challenger for her Women’s Championship was recently revealed on an episode of SmackDown.
