Ronda Rousey Tells WWE To Use Fine To “Help With Those Budget Cuts”

Ronda Rousey has poked fun at WWE and their “budget cuts” suggesting the company should use her latest fine to re-sign some more stars for her to face.

On the August 12th episode of Friday Night SmackDown Ronda Rousey emerged through the crowd to take centre stage despite being suspended.

Rousey had been fined and suspended in the days after SummerSlam where she attacked a referee and Liv Morgan after failing in her attempt to win back the SmackDown Women’s Title in controversial circumstances.

Back on SmackDown, Rousey stood in the middle of the ring ahead of the contract signing between Morgan and Shayna Baszler who are due to meet at Clash At The Castle. Before the contract signing could begin, Rousey dumped a bag on cash on the table to pay her fine.

In her latest post on Instagram, Rousey shared photos of her appearance suggesting that WWE should use the money to bring back for stars for her to beat.

“Use that cash wisely @wwe – Maybe it can help with those “budget cuts”. Bring back some asses for me to kick.”

In recent years WWE have often cited “budget cuts” as the reason for releasing a large number of Superstars. Since Triple H became Head of Creative a number of those stars have already started to return with Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross and Hit Row among those back on WWE television.
