Ronda Rousey Gains A New Rival
On the November 11th edition of SmackDown, Liv Morgan, Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans, Xia Li and Sonya Deville met to decide a new number one contender.
During the match Liv Morgan continued to showcase the new unhinged side of her character, attempting to drive Rodriguez and Deville through a table. Although the spot didn’t quite work out as planned.
Back in the ring it was Shotzi who picked up the win following a Never Wake Up DDT on Lacey Evans. Backstage, Emma congratulated Shotzi on her win while looking for Madcap Moss. The new number one contender was then confronted by Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey. After some verbal back and forth, Baszler choked out Shotzi as Rousey laughed in the background.
Elsewhere on the show, The Usos defeated the New Day to retain their Undisputed Tag Team Championships. With the win the pair ensured they will become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. Their reign currently stands at 481 days, just why of the record currently held by the New Day.
Jimmy and Jey won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles back at Money in the Bank 2021, before adding the Raw Titles in May 2022.
