It has become something of an open secret that Ronda Rousey has been training for a possible in-ring return, but there is potentially even more to the story.
After James Storm has openly discussed training with Rousey,Fightful Managing Editor Sean Ross Sapp commented on the latest edition of Monday Night Live, that Ronda Rousey had been pictured at her training facility “multiple times.”
He also revealed that her husband Travis Browne could also be about to dip his toes into the world of pro wrestling.
“Travis Browne’s the interesting one, because he’s training too. He’s a former UFC fighter, he was a contender, a fringe contender, always a top ten guy for a while. But I was told that specifically he was working on his timing and his selling.”

Browne hasn’t fought in three years but he is still in the UFC drug testing pool and has resisted Dana White’s calls for him to retire. Although Sapp believes that if Browne was to ask for his release from UFC, and wanted to move to WWE it wouldn’t be an issue.
“I get the feeling, that if for some reason he signed with WWE they’d be like ‘yeah sure whatever we don’t care.’ That’s happened multiple times now, with UFC fighters like that. If somebody wants to retire, legitimately retire. They’ll just let them out of their deal, typically. But, yeah, they’re in the ring doing some stuff.”
It remains to be seen whether Rousey will return to the WWE in time for Wrestlemania, but this news is unlikely to quelle the speculation. And if does return, doing so with her husband by her side will just open up even more potential stories and matches down the line.
