Ronda Rousey To Star In New Reality TV Series

Ronda Rousey

The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey may not have been on WWE programming for some time but she is set to appear on TV screens very soon in a new space-themed FOX reality series.

Rousey was last seen on WWE television at WrestleMania 39 when she teamed with Shayan Baszler to defeat Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya and Shotzi.

In the run-up to WrestleMania, it was revealed that the Olympian had suffered a hairline fracture in her arm. Despite the injury, she still wrestled on the show, albeit briefly as she was determined to compete at the supershow. Since then Rousey and Baszler were picked to join the Monday Night Raw roster in the fourth round of the WWE Draft.

Ronda Rousey Will Join The Cast Of FOX Reality Show ‘Stars On Mars’

Stars On Mars is a new reality show debuting on June 5th on Fox. The series features a crew of “celebronauts” who will embark on a NASA-esque simulated mission to Mars. The twelve crewmates will live, eat, sleep and strategize as if on a real space exploration where they will compete against each other before eliminating a teammate each week until only one remains.

The official description of the show reads as follows:

An out-of-this-world new unscripted series, in which household names trade in their possessions, status and glamourous lifestyles on Earth for an insane and hilarious summer on “Mars.” Their mission? To be suited up with no space to go, as they colonize, compete and conquer their new galaxy surroundings, until there is just one “celebronaut” left standing.

The other members or crewmates accompanying the UFC Hall of Famer are cyclist Lance Armstrong, NFL Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, restaurateur Tom Schwartz, singer Tinashe, comedian, actress and writer Natasha Leggero, actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse, TV personality Porsha Williams Guobadia, actor Ariel Winter, football player Richard Sherman and artist Tallulah Willis.
