Since Ronda Rousey arrived in the WWE in 2018, one of her most popular rivals has undoubtedly been Becky Lynch.
The two were involved in a feud in 2019, also involving Charlotte Flair, which culminated in the WrestleMania 35 main event. Though Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey haven’t met in the ring since Lynch pinned Rousey for the victory in the match-up, the feud still looks to be humming in the heart of Ronda Rousey.
A great example of this would be a comment that Rousey once made on her Facebook account about Lynch.
Ronda Rousey Shot On Becky Lynch
In the first half of 2021, Ronda Rousey was streaming live on her Facebook account. On this occasion, she was playing WWE 2K Battlegrounds, an arcade-style fighting game released in 2020.
At one point in the game, Rousey noticed what she felt was a glaring error: Becky Lynch had the same in-game “rating” as her.
“They gave Becky the same as me? She knows that’s bulls**t. You know that’s some bulls**t. I’m gonna leave Becky Lynch’s box alone. I don’t want no ginger box, nobody does. Except for maybe Seth Rollins, but you know… that’s his thing.”
In WWE 2K Battlegrounds, all wrestlers are rated between 1 and 100, with “1” being the worst and “100” being the best. The highest-rated wrestlers in the game are Brock Lesnar, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock, who are all rated 95.
Comparatively, both Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey are rated 92, which is the highest rating out of everybody else on the WWE women’s roster. Rousey evidently wasn’t happy about this, hence the in-character dig at Lynch’s expense.
Becky Lynch is one of only two people who have defeated Ronda Rousey on a WWE broadcast, thanks to her victory over the former MMA star at Wrestlemania 35. The only other time these two superstars shared a ring was on Monday Night Raw in April of 2019, where Lynch and Rousey teamed up with Charlotte Flair to defeat The Riott Squad.
