Ronda Rousey ended a rollercoaster 2022 by losing her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on December 30th.
Rousey returned to the company as a surprise entrant in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble and went on to win the match. Although she lost her championship match to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38, she avenged the defeat a month later to win the SmackDown Women’s Title.
The former UFC star later lost the title to Morgan before regaining it at Extreme Rules. While Rousey was busy adding to her impressive CV, her performances were met with mixed responses from fans who criticised her in-ring work and attitude.
