Ronda Rousey has commented on a potential link up with Paul Heyman, admitting that she’s jealous of Roman Reigns’ relationship with the Wise Man.
Paul Heyman is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestling minds in the business today. Roman Reigns’ current right-hand man has been pushing creative boundaries in professional wrestling for over three decades and shows no signs of slowing down.
During his time with WWE, Heyman has also served as a manager for the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Although not every partnership ends in success, think his ill-fated link up with Cesaro, generally speaking, with Heyman by your side, the wrestling world in your oyster.
Speaking during a recent gaming stream, WWE star Ronda Rousey was asked what she thought of Heyman’s current charge Roman Reigns. The former UFC star praised Reigns while admitting that she was jealous that he gets to work with the Wise Man.
“I think he’s great, I’m very jealous he has Paul Heyman as his advocate.”
When asked a few minutes later whether she would be happy for Heyman to lead her to the ring she replied:
“Definitely, without a doubt, without hesitation.”
On the September 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown Ronda Rousey was reinstated after being (storyline) suspended following her actions at SummerSlam. However, Adam Pearce was less than impressed by the decision made by WWE’s Board and insulted Rousey, which resulted in the former SmackDown Women’s Champion attacking him.
Paul Heyman hasn’t appeared on WWE television since he was put through an announce table at SummerSlam by Brock Lesnar. As a result, he missed Reigns most recent title defence at Clash At The Castle.
