Ronda Rousey On How Long She’ll Stay With WWE

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey has given a hint at how long she expects to remain with WWE after WrestleMania 38.

After a series of sporadic appearances beginning in 2014, Ronda Rousey signed with WWE three years later beginning her full-time run at the 2018 Royal Rumble.

The former UFC star remained with the company until WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, where after being defeated by Becky Lynch in the main event, she announced she was taking a break to focus on having a family.

Rousey returned the ring at the 2022 Royal Rumble, winning the women’s Royal Rumble match to set up a clash with Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38. In light of her relatively short previous run with the company, many fans have wondered how long Rousey will continue competing in the ring after her clash with Flair in Dallas, Texas.

Speaking on a recent Facebook gaming stream, the self-styled ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ said that she’s planning to be around for a while, joking she’ll only step back when she and husband Travis Browne ready to have another baby.

“Yes, I am staying [in WWE after WrestleMania 38]. I’ll be staying for a while. I just had a baby. I’m not ready to have another one yet so, I’ll be staying around ‘till we’re ready for number two, or four.”

On the March 4th episode of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey defeated Sonya Deville in the main event. The bout marked Rousey’s first televised singles match since she overcame Sarah Logan in March 2019.

It was recently announced that WWE will be returning to Europe for a short tour following WrestleMania. The tour will take in Newcastle, London, Paris and Leipzig. It was also confirmed that Rousey will be appearing at the dates in London and Paris, making her first appearances in those cities in four years.
