Ronda Rousey Congratulates Natalya On Latest Record Breaking Achievement

Natalya vs Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey has taken to social media to congratulate, friend and professional wrestling mentor, Natalya following the confirmation that ‘The B.O.A.T’ set yet another Guinness World Record.

On the 19th of November edition of SmackDown, The Queen Of Hearts teamed up with another former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler to defeat the team of Naomi and SmackDown newcomer Aliyah.

Following a quick count from the referee, Baszler and Natalya picked up the victory after only a minute. However as the former SmackDown Women’s Champion told the world in an interview after the match, the sixty-second bout was more significant than it first appeared.

Natalya told Megan Morant the victory marked the star’s 500th in-ring victory:

“With all this talk about heroes and leaders, Shayna and I, we’re just here to elevate the division. With 500 wins, I’m the greatest of all time.”

Now the third generation superstar has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as having even more victories to her name than previously thought with the organisation confirming Natalya has the most career wins of a female WWE star with 641.

Natalya took to social media to acknowledge the achievement and poked fun at a couple of WWE icons who couldn’t match up to her:

“You want to know how singular and special I am? Even The Rock, Steve Austin or John Cena couldn’t capture the record of most FEMALE wins in @WWE history!!!#RecordBreaker@GWR@WWE”

The Calgary born WWE superstar would take to social media, with her ‘assistant’, sharing a press release stating that Natalya is “of the people, for the people and for the people” adding that she is no longer talking to Ronda Rousey after the UFC Hall of Famer attempted to correct her and ‘three-time world record holders don’t make mistakes.

‘The Arm Collector’ Ronda Rousey would take to social media to congratulate Natalya on her incredible achievement and comedically requesting that The B.O.A.T answers her calls.

Rousey hasn’t wrestled in WWE since 2019, but there’s still a lack of clarity about her contract situation – not least from the former UFC champ herself!

“I technically don’t think I am [under contract to WWE], but who knows? That’s a question for lawyers.”

Ronda Rousey had previously said she will return “when she feels like it” after Nick Khan said the former Raw Women’s Champion would return to WWE but didn’t specify a date.

Back in September, Rousey gave birth to her first-born child with UFC star Travis Browne – named “La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne – having spoken of her desire to have a family even as far back as during her WWE run.
