Ronda Rousey has given her true feelings about her experiences in WWE.
Absent from the company for more than 6 months following her loss to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam, Rousey appears to be done with being a full-time wrestler. The only subsequent appearances have been for the independent promotion Pro Wrestling Revolver and one match in Ring of Honor.
On April 4th, Rousey’s second autobiography Our Fight will be released worldwide, which discusses her time as a professional wrestler after retiring from the UFC.
While appearing on Never Before Told to promote the upcoming book, the former Women’s Champion was asked if she could tease some behind-the-scenes elements of the professional wrestling world. Giving a brutally honest response, Rousey described WWE as a “sh*t show” and called out the company for holding her hostage:
“Behind the scenes? How much of an absolute sh*t show it is at the WWE because they can’t hold the story over my head and hold me hostage with my own career. I don’t need anything from them and I don’t intend on going back, so I can say everything that I think and feel while everybody else is still held captive by their organization,”

Rousey has made it no secret that she has had issues with various higher-ups in the company. While discussing her relationship with fellow Superstars, Rousey stated that there is no ill will towards any Superstars, but the same can’t be said for a current and former company executive:
“In MMA, I originally just started [beef] for publicity, but those other bitches did not get the memo and so they became personal,” Rousey said. “In WWE, it’s all fake. I love them. Except Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis, they can go f*ck themselves. That’s real.”

Ronda Rousey Calls Out Vince McMahon
The upcoming autobiography is set to be a very compelling read judging by Rousey’s comments in the interview and her previous comments about the company. In an excerpt from the book, Ronda Rousey held nothing back when discussing Vince McMahon and WWE’s “casting couch” culture.
