Ronda Rousey has discussed her possible return to WWE but fans might not want to hold their breath as the former Raw Women’s Champion says she’ll return on her terms.
Rousey was last seen in a WWE ring in the main event of WrestleMania 35. She defended her Raw Women’s Title in a triple threat match also featuring Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Lynch pinned Rousey to win the match and both her and Flair’s titles.
Since then the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion’s return has been the cause of much speculation. Appearing on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk podcast Rousey tried to clear that speculation up, or not.
‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey laughed as she said:
“I actually waited until this moment to tell everybody…I don’t know [when I’ll return]. When I feel like it. I’ll come back when I feel like it. Eventually, when I feel like it [Laughs].”
WWE President Nick Khan recently discussed Rousey’s status with the company, simply stating:
“Ronda is going to be coming back at a certain point in time.”
With that point in time apparently being when Rousey feels like making a return, fans are none the wiser as to when they might see her in a WWE ring again.
D-Von Dudley later stated that he wanted to work on one of Rousey’s matches in his role as a producer at WWE. Dudley added that he never got a chance in her first run with the company.
Rousey responded by saying she’ll make a request for that to happen:
“Now, I feel like I have enough pull to make a request. I keep thinking of some new stuff that I want to try.”
Ronda Rousey recently commemorated her dominant MMA victories with a new tattoo on her wrist. The tattoo illustrates the number of seconds each of her triumphant fights lasted.
