Ronda Rousey has challenged WWE to “get their sh*t together” over the booking of a fellow SmackDown star.
Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was in typically forthright mood when asked about a member of WWE’s women’s division.
While conducting her regular ‘Baddest Stream on the Planet’ a viewer asked Rousey about friend and fellow SmackDown Superstar Shayna Baszler. Holding precisely zero back, Rousey called out WWE over their use of the star, commenting that Baszler was one of the best people on the entire show.
“You’re totally right about Shayna being one of the best people on the show, I need them to get their sh*t together and realize it.”
Shayna Baszler debuted with WWE in August 2017 appearing in the Mae Young Classic where she was defeated by Kairi Sane.
After wrestling on NXT live events, it was announced that she had signed a contract with the company in October. Over the following two years the Queen of Spades dominated the Black and Gold brand’s women’s division winning the NXT Women’s Championship twice.
Upon arriving on the main roster Baszler continued her dominant run before being defeated by Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36. Despite her initial strong introduction and winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles twice, Baszler has failed to replicate their highs of her NXT run in the years since.
The star recently challenged for the SmackDown Women’s Title at Clash At The Castle but was defeated by
Liv Morgan.
It has been announced that Morgan will square off against Rousey at Extreme Rules.
