Ronda Rousey Arrested On SmackDown

Ronda Rousey

Despite being suspended Ronda Rousey was back causing chaos on Friday Night SmackDown, but this time it came at a price.

After showing up unannounced on SmackDown in Montreal, Ronda Rousey found herself in trouble with the law.

On August 19th Rousey opened the show by demanding her suspension be lifted, but Adam Pearce stuck to his guns. At this, he sent security into the ring to try and get Rousey to leave, but the former UFC star attacked them instead. This forced Pearce to send police into the ring and have Rousey arrested.

Despite her tricky situation, as she was being escorted from the building Rousey found time to mock Peace’s haircut on the way.

Ronda Rousey was fined and suspended by WWE following her defeat to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam. After being pinned by the champion in controversial circumstances, Rousey attacked Morgan and then the referee after the match.

On August 12th Rousey jumped the guard rail and made her way into the ring with a large bag. Rousey proceeded empty the bag, which was full of money, all over the ring as a way of paying her fine. In a post on social media after the show, the Baddest Woman on the Planet said that WWE should use the money to help with their “budget cuts.”

With Rousey out of the picture, Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Shayna Baszler at Clash At The Castle. Despite this, the star recently found herself wrapped up in a social media spat with Shotzi. The latter accused Morgan of getting former WWE star Ruby Soho fired.
