Roman Reigns has been away from WWE television since the RAW after WrestleMania. The new report regarding the star’s status has come to the fore.
The Original Tribal Chief has been on a part-time schedule in WWE for years now. The star was heavily rumored to be returning at the Money in the Bank PLE to attack Seth Rollins, after The Visionary and Bron Breakker took him out of action. However, that was not the case as fans were left disappointed.
It has now been reported by PWMania that the OTC’s current absence is part of his schedule in WWE. The star is set to return sometime in the summer and will likely be involved in a huge feud. The star is reportedly in line to be featured in a “high-profile role” at SummerSlam. Roman Reigns is also set to feature in The Pickup, an action-comedy. The star is also in talks to feature in the live-action Street Fighter movie.
It’s safe to say that Reigns will be immensely busy this year as well, and his appearances will be sporadic at best.

Seth Rollins recently took major shots at Roman Reigns in WWE
On WWE SmackDown, just ahead of Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins took major shots at Roman Reigns. The star stated that Reigns was sent to the “island of irrelevancy”, where he belonged and was not going to return to the promotion anytime soon.
Fans kept chanting for the OTC when Solo Sikoa and the New Bloodline came out to confront Rollins and compare his faction to the OG Bloodline.
