Roman Reigns Promises His WWE Run Is Only Going To Get Bigger

Roman Reigns WWE Universal Champion

After a spell away from the ring Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam 2020 and turned heel in the process. Fans had been calling for the move for years and were delighted to see Reigns shake up his character. Just a handful of weeks later the star won the Universal Championship, and he’s held it ever since.

In his more than 800 days holding the gold, Reigns has completely changed his character, becoming the Tribal Chief and head of The Bloodline. During this two-year run Reigns has defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Edge and most recently Logan Paul.

Roman Reigns Says He’s Just Getting Started

At WrestleMania 38 Roman Reigns added the WWE Championship to his Universal Title and has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion ever since. As the days and weeks continue to tick by, some have suggested that Reigns’ unbelievable run could soon to becoming to an end. However, it appears that The Tribal Chief has other ideas. Speaking to The Ringer, Reigns said that far from reaching a conclusion, he’s just getting started.

“I’m right in the middle of it, people want these interviews, they want to do these documentaries. But this is the bottom of the third inning to me. We’re in the second quarter of the Super Bowl right now. Just wait, man. We’ve done this in turbulent times, through a pandemic, through the biggest change of all time in this business. And we’ve done it seamlessly. We’ve done it without falter.

Down the road, 20 years from now when we start giving out all these crazy details of the inside, inside, there’s just going to be even deeper respect for the performances that we’ve been putting on. Man, it’s been a hell of a journey. But it’s only begun. It’s going to get bigger.”

Roman Reigns will be back in action at Survivor Series when he competes in WarGames for the first time in his career. The long-time champion will lead The Usos, Solo Siko and Sami Zayn into battle against Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens.
