Roman Reigns Surpasses WWE Legends With WrestleMania Milestone

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns continued to cement his legacy at WrestleMania and The Tribal Chief surpassed four WWE icons as he hit an incredible career milestone.

At WrestleMania 38 Roman Reigns headlined WrestleMania Sunday for the second year in a row as he competed in what was billed as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time.

Reigns put his Universal Championship on the line against 2022 men’s Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a winner take all title unification bout. After surviving the Kimura Lock, Reigns was able to nail The Beast Incarnate with a Spear to pick up the win and become the unified WWE Universal Champion.

With his WrestleMania 38 main event now under his two title belts, Reigns has overtaken WWE icons John Cena, Shawn Michaels, The Rock, and Lesnar himself in the race for competing in the most WrestleMania events. Those four stars are tied at five apiece with Reigns now having competed last six times on The grandest Stage Of Them All.

Reigns competed in four back-to-back WrestleMania main events between WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 34. During that time, Reigns lost to Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar but defeated WWE Hall Of Famers Triple H and The Undertaker.

At WrestleMania 37 in 2021, Roman Reigns took part in his fifth main event as he defeated both Daniel Bryan and Edge in one of the most dominant wins in WrestleMania history.

With six main events to Reigns’ name, only two men have headlined The Showcase Of The Immortals more than The Tribal Chief, Triple H with 7, and Hulk Hogan with 8.

If the rumours about WrestleMania 39 in 2023 come to pass then expect Roman Reigns to join in joint second place on the list when WrestleMania goes Hollywood.
