The November 11 Friday Night SmackDown saw history made, as The Usos retained their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships over The New Day. With the win, it guaranteed that Jimmy and Jey Uso would break the group’s record for the longest run with any WWE Tag Team Championships, currently sitting at 482 days as of this writing.
Roman Reigns, the leader of The Bloodline and The Usos’ cousin, took to social media to congratulate the brothers on their astounding victory. He simply tweeted, “Greatest”, coupled with a picture of him and The Usos posing in front of Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa.

The Usos Have Dominated The Raw And SmackDown Doubles Division
Winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank 2021 and the Raw Tag Team Championships from RK-Bro this past May, The Usos have reigned supreme over the main roster doubles division for well over a year. Their unifying of the titles made them the first to hold two sets of WWE Tag Team Championships since The Hart Dynasty held the WWE and World Tag Team Championships in 2010.
Alongside their brethren in The Bloodline, the twins have proven themselves as one of WWE’s greatest tag teams, so much so that Paul Heyman has compared them to a modern-day version of several historical tandems. Roman Reigns’ Tribal Counsel made the claims during an interview with Sports Illustrated, explaining how The Usos are both superfluous wrestlers by themselves and together:
“Much like a modern-day, progressive version of the Funk brothers, or Tully [Blanchard] and Arn [Anderson], or Pat [Patterson] and [Ray] Stevens, or even DX, they are individual singles stars that are bigger together than they are separately. Jimmy and Jey are two great singles wrestlers that happen to be identical twins. They would be singles stars, but they work incredibly well together as a tag team.”
The Usos are next scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits on the forthcoming Monday Night Raw on November 14.
