Roman Reigns’ SummerSlam Return Possibly Spoiled By Former WWE Champion

Roman Reigns Potential Hiatus From WWE Following WrestleMania 40

Roman Reigns is highly rumored for a WWE return tonight at SummerSlam, and a former Champion might have spoiled that.

During the SummerSlam kickoff show in Cleveland just hours before the PLE, former WWE Champion Big E possibly spoiled the return of Reigns. Speaking alongside Wade Barrett, and Jackie Redmond, the currently injured WWE Superstar shared:

We may see an appearance from somebody we haven’t seen in a long time.”

While the description fits a threshold of superstars including the rumored AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, and even Brock Lesnar, Reigns is the most likely to make his presence tonight during the Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.

In 2020, Reigns returned to SummerSlam after missing action for a few months. This year in Cleveland, fans can witness The Tribal Chief performing a similar action.

Roman Reigns’ Cousin Confirms Jimmy Uso’s Return

Reigns’ cousin, Jey Uso recently opened up on the impending return of Jimmy Uso. The elder Uso brother has been out of action for several months after being beaten by Tama Tonga.

Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Jey Uso confirmed his brother’s injury and return status.

“My brother will be back soon. I want to see him on TV. If you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy is funny as hell. He was shining on SmackDown for a little bit, but he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV.”
