A new report has claimed that Roman Reigns is set to main event an upcoming Premium Live Event opposite Logan Paul.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WWE will be holding a press conference in Las Vegas to announce the main event for it’s upcoming event in Saudi Arabia.
Crown Jewel is due to take place on November 5th and will reportedly be headlined by Roman Reigns and Logan Paul.
The news comes after Logan Paul claimed on a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast that if he was put in the ring with the Tribal Chief today he would win.
“When I watch [Roman Reigns] on TV and in the ring, I just wanna f***ing wrestle the guy,
That’s what I do … I did it with Floyd Mayweather. My second opponent [in boxing] was Floyd f***ing Mayweather … I love competing at the highest level as soon as I get into the thing.”
“You’re not gonna like this,” Paul continued. “You put me against Roman Reigns right now, I think I win.”
Speculation around a potential clash between the two then went into overdrive on September 15th as Reigns dismissed Paul’s comments suggesting that he would have no issue handling the star. In response, Triple H invited the YouTube star to appear on the September 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
To date the star has wrestled twice in WWE, his first match coming at WrestleMania 38 where he teamed with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios. His second match, and only singles bout took place at SummerSlam as he defeated former friend Miz.
