Roman Reigns Set For Imminent WWE Return

Roman Reigns is set to return to WWE after a lengthy absence.

Roman Reigns was defeated by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, bringing his historic 1316-day reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion to an end. In the months since then, The Tribal Chief has been nowhere to be seen.

In his absence, Solo Sikoa has filled the power vacuum, recreating The Bloodline in his own image by ejecting Jimmy Uso and bringing in Tama Tongo, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa has also told Paul Heyman that Reigns will never be back, and that he is the new Tribal Chief.

During a ceremony to acknowledge Sikoa as the Head of the Table, Paul Heyman refused, and received a beatdown from the group, ending his association with them.

On the July 12th edition of SmackDown, Sikoa claimed that if Reigns ever does come back, he will acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. It looks like we’ll find out if that’s true very soon.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Reigns is expected to make his return to the company either before or at SummerSlam. It has already been announced that Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Biggest Party of the Summer, so it looks likely that Reigns will be involved in the story around that bout.

While he will likely come back as a fan favourite, one former WWE star doesn’t think Roman Reigns will need to change when he returns to WWE.

Roman Reigns Addresses WWE WrestleMania 40 Loss

While he has not been seen since, Roman Reigns addressed his loss at WrestleMania 40 shortly after the event. The Tribal Chief explained that the day after the show he “mourned,” but then shared a video of himself training, saying it was “Day 1.”

In a new interview, one WWE star has named Roman Reigns among their group of mentors.
