Cody Rhodes might not have become Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 39, but his prediction about Roman Reigns and The Bloodline might yet come true.
On night one of the spectacular The Usos lost the Undisputed World Tag Team Titles before falling to regain the gold three weeks later. Naturally, this hasn’t gone down well with the Tribal Chief.
On May 12th, Reigns made his return to SmackDown and gathered The Bloodline to address their recent mixed fortunes.
The long-reigning champion said that he was initially worried about Solo Sikoa when he first stepped up to join the group, but when it was sink or swim time, he swam like a shark, stepping up at Backlash.
However, the same couldn’t be said for The Usos. Reigns said that there wasn’t a problem with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, instead, there’s a problem with Sikoa’s brothers, Jimmy, and Jey.
Reigns demanded an apology for their recent losses and shoved Jimmy in the face. Before things could escalate further, Jey stepped in to apologise and ask for one more shot to bring the Tag Team Titles home. But it was quickly revealed that Reigns has other plans.

Roman Reigns Stuns The Usos
The Tribal Chief handed over the microphone to his Special Counsel who said that he had been instructed to pull every string and make as many deals as needed to make sure tag team gold comes back to The Bloodline. As The Usos stood stunned, Paul Heyman announced that it will be Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns that challenge Sami Owens and Kevin Owens at Night of Champions.
To close the segment Reigns dedicated the match to the greatest tag team of all time, Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans, mocking The Usos’ earlier dedication to him.
At Night of Champions will be hit 1000 days as World Champion having won the Universal Title back in August 2020.
