The main event on night two of this year’s WrestleMania sees ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in one the most anticipated WrestleMania bouts in recent history.
Many believe that ‘The Tribal Chief’ could be set to lose the gold on Sunday evening at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with Rhodes a hot favourite to lift his finish his ascent to the top of the company, but some still point to Reigns’ victories over Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber and Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle to prove that potential title switches don’t always occur.
It was long believed that Rhodes would not be the man to face ‘The Head Of The Table’ at WrestleMania 39, but instead it would be Reigns’ cousin, former WWE Champion and Hollywood royalty Dwayne Johnson.
Roman Reigns labels Dwayne Johnson a smart businessman
Sending electric energy, love, gratitude and support to our WWE Universe, Team WWE and my fellow women and men @WWE & @WWENXT Superstars whom I will always have your backs. Make history this weekend, move the crowd and have fun.

Johnson, who has held the WWE Championship on eight occasions, recently tweeted a video wishing everybody involved in WrestleMania luck, whilst highlighting matches involving his family members and even teased a potential meeting with Reigns in the future:
“I’m so excited, not only for all the matches, but especially the main event with my cousin Roman Reigns, the entire Bloodline, Jey, Jimmy, Solo, we’re so proud of you guys. Kick ass, electrify SoFi stadium do what you do, it is in our blood.
Who knows, maybe, just maybe, down the road, I’ll see you in person. Maybe. I’ll just leave it at that.”
Reigns acknowledged the comments in a chat with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, alluding to the fact that ‘The Great One’ had deliberately left the comments open to interpretation:
“He’s a smart businessman. He knows what he is doing.”
Whilst an appearance from Johnson on night two of WrestleMania on Sunday would be a huge surprise, it would set up an epic encounter for what is sure to be a huge show in Philadelphia next year for WrestleMania 40.
