Less than 24 hours before they meet at Clash of Champions, Roman Reigns has reacted to the WWE Chronicle documentary featuring Jey Uso.
The WWE Universal Champion filmed the video while working out, and said to Uso that he was “probably resting” and “probably getting ready” while he was “over here working”. He went on to say that he had watched the WWE Chronicle and had nothing but respect and love for his cousin. He reminded him that he had lived the experience with him “from the porch to the pay-per-view”.
However, ‘The Big Dog’ then changed his tone, saying that while they were from the same family, Reigns had “learned differently” and had “been groomed differently” to Uso. Claiming his superiority, he finished up by telling the Number 1 Contender:
“You’re over here trying to level up, I live at this level, I am this level. Tomorrow night I’m going to show you why baby.”
Jey Uso gave his thoughts on the match to Inside the Ropes’ Special Contributor Alex McCarthy earlier this week.
“I know there’s a lot of disbelievers and a lot of the fans that think I’m not the guy to dethrone the ‘tribal chief’. But I’m letting y’all know, Joe – not Roman – knows what kind of person I am. I’m going to bring the fight, I’m not scared of him.”
