Since returning to WWE following a short hiatus at SummerSlam 2020 Roman Reigns has enjoyed what has been undoubtedly the finest run of his career.

At the summer spectacular Reigns made a surprise return after the Universal Title match between The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, attacking both men. On the following episode of Friday Night SmackDown Reigns aligned with Paul Heyman, solidifying his heel status in the process.

Before August was out Reigns defeated Wyatt and Strowman in a Triple Threat Match to claim the Universal Championship. Incredibly, he has held the title ever since, with a reign up to 784 days and counting. After defeating all challengers including the likes of John Cena, Edge, Bryan Danielson and more, Reigns added the WWE Title at WrestleMania 38 by defeating Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns Reaches Another Milestone

Impressively, Roman Reigns has now surpassed 200 days as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Roman Reigns’ most recent title defence came against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle with a helping hand from the debuting Solo Sikoa. While Reigns hasn’t wrestled on WWE programming since, he does know the identity of his next challenger.

The Tribal Chief is set to meet Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 5th. The rivalry between the pair began after Reigns appeared on Paul’s podcast. With the interview over, the YouTube star claimed that if he was given a match against the champion he would beat him. This led to the match being made at a press conference in Las Vegas.

Ahead of the bout it’s been revealed that Logan Paul has been training with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. Speaking on a media call ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc, Shawn Michaels has noted that Logan was the one who asked to work with him.
