Roman Reigns will be appearing on the 30th-anniversary special of Monday Night Raw, but not quite as first advertised.
On the January 16th episode of the red brand, it was announced by The Usos that there would be an ‘Acknowledgment Ceremony’ the following week featuring every generation of The Bloodline. The ceremony was set to feature the likes of Rikishi coming back to honour Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. There were even rumours among fans that Dwayne Johnson could be making a special appearance as part of the segment.
However, just days ahead of the show WWE announced that the segment will be very different.
The previously advertised segment has been replaced by ‘The Bloodline’s Tribal Court’ which will put Sami Zayn on trial. On the most recent episode of SmackDown tension between Reigns and Zayn continued to build, hinting that the breakdown of the reluctant partnership could be just around the corner.
Roman Reigns Is Ready For The Bloodline’s Tribal Court
Responding to the switch on social media, Roman Reigns praised host city Philadelphia as “ruthless but honest.”
Philly!!!!! A ruthless but honest city, just like your Tribal Chief. Tomorrow night, we lay it all out on the table, and then we decide. Y.T.C.

Elsewhere on the show The Usos will defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against Judgment Day. It will be the first time that the Tag Team Titles have been defended individually since The Usos unified them back in May 2022.
The show’s second title match will see Austin Theory put his United States Championship on the line against Bobby Lashley. The All-Mighty won his way back into contention with victory in a six-man elimination match on January 16th.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch will meet long-time rival Bayley in a Steel Cage Match. It has also been announced that the show will feature legends such as The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
