Roman Reigns Not Expected At Multiple Major WWE Shows In 2024

Roman Reigns looks set to sit out multiple Premium Live Events in 2024.

Reigns will next compete at the Royal Rumble, defending the Undisputed Championship against AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight in a Fatal 4-Way match. With many expecting The Tribal Chief to retain the title at the January Premium Live Event, the next defence will be at WrestleMania 40, as it has also been reported that The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is not going to happen at Elimination Chamber.

WWE has recently started selling tickets for the Backlash Premium Live Event in France. Posters used to advertise the go-home SmackDown see top stars such as Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Becky Lynch featured, but there is no sign of Reigns once again, much to the disappointment of fans.

When Will Roman Reigns Next Wrestle After WrestleMania?

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that after WrestleMania, Reigns is only expected to work 2 Premium Live Events up to and including SummerSlam.

“Roman Reigns is not on the Australia show (Elimination Chamber). He’s not on the Paris show (Backlash) either, by the way, for fans over there. He’s gonna be wrestling at the Royal Rumble, and then his next big match, I don’t know…he could do a TV match, but he’s gonna wrestle at the Royal Rumble, and then his next match is gonna be his WrestleMania match. And after that, I would presume it’s gonna be Saudi and SummerSlam.”

This would mean that Reigns will not be a part of Bash in Berlin in Germany and Money in the Bank in Canada in addition to the aforementioned PLEs that he is not advertised for in 2024.

It should be mentioned that the card can be subject to change and Reigns could be a last-minute addition to a show if required.
