Roman Reigns could have a contender for the Money In The Bank event set in stone after he was challenged on Monday Night Raw.
On Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Roman Reigns’ next contender for his Unified WWE Universal Championship may well have come to the fore after The Tribal Chief was challenged by former US Champion, Riddle.
Riddle appeared as a guest on Miz TV and after the inevitable back and forth with The Miz, announced he wanted to take on Roman Reigns in a championship match.
The Miz and Riddle then met one-on-one with Riddle picking up a quick victory over the former two-time WWE Champion.
The Original Bro had long been rumoured as Reigns’ opponent at Money In The Bank after his tag team partner Randy Orton was put on the shelf by The Bloodline after RKBro had lost a tag team title unification match against The Usos.
If original reports are to be believed then Roman Reigns will defend his unified title against Riddle inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at Money In The Bank before facing Randy Orton at SummerSlam and Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle in the UK in September.
