Roman Reigns is all set to be a part of this big video game’s upcoming movie adaptation.
Earlier tonight, Deadline reported that Roman Reigns is all set to star in the Street Fighter movie adaptation with well-renowned actor Jason Momoa. Produced by Legendary Pictures, they will be joined by other popular names, Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo.
While the Tribal Chief’s role in the film was still in the air, Fightful Select recently confirmed a major update on it. According to Jeff Sneider, Roman Reigns is up for the role of Akuma. Fightful Select later also reported that Reigns was being considered for that specific role. Akuma first appeared in the 1994 game, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and has since appeared in several other editions of the video game as well. Extremely popular amongst the fans, Akuma has also made several appearances across multiple other video games.
Last seen on the Raw episode after WrestleMania, Reigns has not been featured on television since then, after being taken out by Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins.
Roman Reigns’ Cousin, The Rock Is Also Set To Feature In Another Promising Film
After his upcoming film based on MMA fighter Mark Kerr, The Rock is set to feature in another A24 film. Deadline reported that The Rock is now set to co-star in a new psychological thriller titled ‘Breakthrough’. The upcoming movie will be produced and financed by A24.
Both the cousins now find themselves extremely busy outside the pro-wrestling world.
