Roman Reigns Hits Ridiculous WWE Milestone

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is in the midst of a run of a lifetime.

The Tribal Chief has been at the top of his game since returning to WWE after a short hiatus at SummerSlam 2020. Less than a month later Reigns claimed the Universal Championship and has held onto the title ever since. As his impressive run continued, Reigns added the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 where he defeated Brock Lesnar.

From this point on Reigns has been known as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Incredibly the star has now spent a staggering 900 days as Universal Champion. During this period Reigns has defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, John Cena, Edge, and Bryan Danielson often more than once.

Roman Reigns Heading For Huge Match At WrestleMania 39

Although Reigns has been on such a stunning run for such a long time, his time as champion could be coming to an end. After winning the Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes booked himself a shot at Reigns. The American Nightmare has made no secret of his desire to win the championship that his his Hall of Fame father Dusty Rhodes never won.

While Rhodes has all of the momentum in the world, Reigns is somewhat stumbling towards WrestleMania with The Bloodline falling apart around him. At the Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn turned his back on Reigns, while The Usos are having their own problems. On the most recent episode of SmackDown, it was revealed that they were ordered to stay at home by Reigns for Elimination Chamber.

At Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn.
