Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has teased that he is beginning a “new phase” in his career at a recent WWE Live event.
Roman Reigns is currently on the hottest run of his career so far. In the main event of WrestleMania 38, he defeated Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE and Universal Championships and he has held the latter title for a record-shattering 616 days and counting. Over the course of his reigns, The Tribal Chief has defeated every top star WWE has to offer including Seth Rollins, Edge, Bryan Danielson, and John Cena.
His dominance over the company in the last two years has led many to wonder what the future holds for The Head of the Table once he is eventually dethroned. At a recent WWE Live event in Trenton, New Jersey, Reigns teased that we might find out sooner rather than later as he announced he was moving into a new phase of his career and “honestly doesn’t know” if he will be back in Trenton again.
“I’ve been here many times, you know what I’m saying? I’ve been here a couple of times in the past 10 years. And I’m starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back here again. If that’s the case, I just wanna say thank you for all these years of support.”

While the long-term future for Roman Reigns looks unclear, we do know he will next be in action at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8th in a huge Six-Man Tag Team Match pitting him and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos against Drew McIntyre and Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro.
