Long before he reigned atop the WWE as Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns performed under the name Leakee in FCW. He signed a developmental contract in 2010, and by 2012 he was portraying the character of a rich man who would only do things on his own time.
Footage recently emerged online of a 2012 segment featuring Leakee alongside former WWE Diva Summer Rae, who served as FCW’s general manager. In the clip, Leakee was showing a major character shift after four months away from television, and ahead of him explaining himself, Summer Rae gave the star a kiss on the cheek.
Following the kiss, Leakee explained that he’d become observant after four months away, and that he sees how little things can add up to big things, like cashing checks and winning championships. He then declared that when he returned to action it would be on his time, ending the promo by telling the fans in attendance to cheer for “The Boss.”

Roman Reigns Is Set To Face Sami Zayn At The Elimination Chamber
These days, Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE, having broken records with his current championship reign and ruling both Raw and SmackDown as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. At the Royal Rumble, he defended his championship against Kevin Owens, instructing Sami Zayn to accompany him to the ring while telling Solo Sikoa and The Usos to stay in the back.
Zayn did his part during the bout and it seemed that his allegiance to The Bloodline couldn’t be shaken, even if he looked concerned about Owens‘ well-being. However, Reigns wasn’t satisfied with simply pinning Owens and retaining his title; instead, the Head of the Table wanted to inflict more damage, and after The Bloodline joined him in the ring to celebrate, all members continued laying a beating on Owens, going so far as to handcuff him to the ring.
Reigns handed a steel chair to Zayn and instructed him to hit the handcuffed Owens, and this proved to be one step too far. Instead, Sami Zayn hit Roman Reigns in the back, severing ties with The Bloodline after working so hard to prove his loyalty over the previous months on WWE programming.
Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa wasted no time in joining Reigns as they beat down Zayn for his actions, but to the shock of the crowd, Jey Uso walked out on his family, refusing to participate any further.
The following Friday on SmackDown, Zayn demanded a match with Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event.
