WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns choked out WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to pick up the win at Survivor Series after a contest that had everything from technicality to brutality in abundance. While both men countered absolutely everything the other man offered – from finishers to announce tables – the difference would be some interference from Jey Uso while the referee was unconscious to help give The Big Dog the upper hand. Reigns would then cinch in a submission hold, with the Scotsman falling unconscious. A replacement referee would come in to declare McIntyre unable to continue.

Earlier in the night, Roman Reigns had told Jey Uso to go home after “letting the family down” following his loss in the Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match. However, Uso would seemingly make up for his error by assisting Reigns.
The Miz, who won the Dual-Brand Battle Royal earlier in the night on the Survivor Series Kickoff, didn’t appear – despite a cash-in being heavily teased due to it being the tenth anniversary of his first cash-in.
