Roman Reigns has changed audience reception towards him since adopting his ‘Tribal Chief’ persona, but a certain on-screen WWE personality has made a very bold claim!
Since becoming ‘The Tribal Chief’, Roman Reigns has left many impressed. Currently in the midst of a 700+ day reign as WWE Universal Champion, with the WWE Championship also added to his shoulder this past April, Reigns is delivering a career-best performance – or, according to Paul Heyman, the best wrestling performance period.
As shown in footage shared by Matt Kempke, the former ECW promoter touted the success of Roman Reigns by proclaiming him as better than both Brock Lesnar and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin:
“Make no mistake about this, okay? Brock Lesnar, one of the best, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, one of the best, everyone I’ve ever worked with, amongst the best. Roman Reigns is the single greatest champion, performer, fighter, wrestler, sports entertainer I’ve ever encountered in my entire career, he is the undisputed greatest of all time.”
Brock Lesnar has been attached to the hip of Roman Reigns since 2015. The pair have feuded on and off since their initial WrestleMania 31 collision, with the rivalry seemingly culminating at SummerSlam when ‘The Head of the Table’ downed Lesnar in a chaotic Last Man Standing match.
Reigns has now gone unpinned and unsubmitted for over two years. Currently the top performer in wrestling, per his number one ranking in the annual PWI 500, Roman is gearing up for an anticipated championship defence against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel on 5 November.
