Roman Reigns And Jey Uso Once Inspired This Former Champion To Take ‘Acting Classes’

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso have influenced this former champion differently.

Currently, a part of the heavily interesting Bloodline saga on SmackDown, and Raw, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’s story ranges back several years. Long before his Tribal Chief gimmick, Reigns often relied on support from The Usos. Their blood relationship later transformed into a WWE storyline as a part of ‘The Bloodline’.

Recently, former Raw tag-team champion Omos named them as his inspiration for taking up acting classes. Pro wrestling is very similar to performing arts, and wrestlers often need to act or perform during their television storylines, to make the feuds more convincing.

Speaking on the ‘Six Feet Under’ podcast with The Undertaker, Omos reflected on how he started his acting classes.

I remember, I think it was last year in New York, I saw when Roman (Reigns) had, in MSG, he and Jey Uso had a confrontation. As the boys, you know, we are always in the back watching, right? You never get to watch the show from the audience’s perspective, right? I got to watch the show in the audience section, me and some [executives], and I’m watching this whole show. I was like, ‘Oh, this is what ‘Taker tells me about all the time. This is what telling a story looks like.’ He’s coming out there.

He just came out there, and people didn’t know [if] they should put their ones up or put it down. Like this conflict amongst the audience. I was like, ‘Oh, whatever this is, I want to do this.’ This is a whole different level of performing. Then, I started taking acting classes. Just trying to get ready for whatever’s thrown at me.”

Omos was last seen competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 40. He is yet to make his return to the squared circle, although The Undertaker recently spoke highly of Omos, and claimed how WWE needs to use him as an attraction.

Zilla Fatu Announces Roman Reigns As His Tribal Chief

In an interview with ‘Apollo HOU‘, Umaga’s son, Zilla Fatu, announced his Tribal Chief. While there is an ongoing battle over the Tribal Chief status in WWE between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, their cousin Zilla Fatu has made his choice.

Im’ma keep it 100 — OTC [is my Tribal Chief]. I think what Roman has done for the wrestling community — and not only that, our family — it’s hard not to acknowledge what he started. So he started it.

Nothing towards Solo, I love him, but if you ask me my Tribal Chief, it’s Roman Reigns.”
