Roman Reigns Advertised For Upcoming SmackDown

Roman Reigns WWE Universal Championship

Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown in the lead-up to Crown Jewel.

The Tribal Chief hasn’t wrestled since overcoming Jey Uso at SummerSlam thanks to a helping hand from Jimmy Uso. On the following episode of SmackDown, Jey sensationally quit and laid out Jimmy, Solo Sikoa, and Reigns. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion hasn’t been seen on WWE television since.

This continued Reigns’ recent trend of missing chunks of time following major events after agreeing to a more part-time schedule when negotiating his most current contract.

However, it’s been reported that Roman Reigns will be back in action at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, meaning his next match will take place on November 5th. This means that the star will be on SmackDown in the lead-up to the show to build his match — whoever it’s against.

Reigns is now being advertised on the Fiserv Forum’s official website for the SmackDown show in Milwaukee on October 27th. The likes of John Cenam AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair are also advertised.

John Cena To Join Roman Reigns In Saudi Arabia?

Following the news that the Tribal Chief is heading to Saudi Arabia, it’s emerged that one of his former rivals could also be joining him.

Interestingly in a new promotional video for Riyadh Season, Crown Jewel is mentioned, as well as “the participation of John Cena.”

Surprisingly, Reigns was also absent from the initial posters and advertising for the 2024 Royal Rumble. However, there’s every chance he’s added to the lineup in the coming months.
