Roman Reigns Addresses Who Should Induct Paul Heyman Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Paul Heyman speaking to Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns has given his thoughts on who should induct Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame.

On March 4th, it was announced that Paul Heyman will be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Heyman’s current role as the ‘Wise Man’ for Roman Reigns and The Bloodline is just one of the many parts he’s played in the wrestling industry in a career spanning almost four decades.

When asked who should induct Heyman during a recent episode of the Pat McAfee Show, Reigns joked that he might need to induct himself for the double payday. Thinking more seriously, though, Reigns said it would take someone who knew all the facets of Heyman’s career.

“That sounds like double pay to me. We have to think of the business side here. I’ll speak for the Wiseman and say we’ll take a double pay. Whoever does it, they need to be authentic. They need to tell their story of Paul. There is going to be a lot of facts and history you can lay down with the Wiseman, all the way from the beginnings with the giant phone to being the advocate to being my special counsel. Whoever does it just needs to be themselves and tell the truth.”

The Tribal Chief believes nobody deserves the induction more than Heyman for what he’s done in the wrestling business.

“Paul is an incredible man, an unbelievable man. What he’s done in this business and his personal life. I know well because I work with him and am good friends with him. I have the utmost respect for him. Nobody deserves a Hall of Fame induction more than him. Paul is like a performance enhancer. He’s like a PED. He makes you feel more comfortable.

“He knows what it’s like to be on the marquee. He’s worked around it and in it his whole life. He knows how to say those little things. It’s like a director, you’re about to go into this huge monologue and he hits you with a couple things to put the skin on to where you can feel the true emotions of that moment and be authentic.”

Paul Heyman Is Just Getting Started In WWE

While he is going into the Hall of Fame, Paul Heyman still has a lot he wants to achieve in WWE and refuses to treat it as a lifetime achievement award. Heyman says he wants to be around for the many ‘firsts’ to come in the company, including the first WrestleMania on the Moon.

In a new interview, Paul Heyman gave his thoughts on The Rock being added to The Bloodline.
