Roman Reigns Addresses Vince McMahon Allegations: “A Stain On WWE”

Roman Reigns Addresses Vince McMahon Allegations:

Roman Reigns has spoken out on the Vince McMahon Allegations that ultimately led to the former Chairman resigning from WWE.

In early 2024, a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant accused Vince McMahon of sexual assault and trafficking. The lawsuit also named the company and former Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis as defendants.

Although McMahon has been gone from the company for over a year, the lawsuit remains ongoing and has often come up in interviews.

One of the top stars for over a decade, Reigns worked closely with McMahon and was often pushed as the company’s top star by the former Chairman. During an interview with Vanity Fair, the former World Champion was asked about the allegations, to which Reigns expressed sympathy for Grant and described the situation as embarrassing:

Anoa’i tells me that the allegations from Grant are a stain on WWE. “She’s got to live with all these situations that happened and hopefully she’s in a place where she feels comfortable and she’s secure in her own place,” he says of Grant. “It’s embarrassing. That’s stuff you don’t want to hear about. You don’t want your family to hear about.” Anoa’i says McMahon reached out last year to wish him a happy birthday, but the former CEO and chairman has, by all accounts, completely removed himself from WWE affairs. Last spring he sold the last of his remaining shares in TKO Group Holdings.

Roman Reigns Confirms Contract Expiration Date

Although Reigns remains one of the top stars in the entire company, The OTC has been on a part-time schedule over the past few years with fans curious as to what the future holds in regards to pro wrestling. In the same interview, Roman Reigns confirmed when his contract expires and what his intentions are at that point.
