Roman Reigns has revealed who he believes to be his biggest WWE rival.
The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is amidst a historic Universal Championship reign. For over 700 days, Reigns has wrestled a multitude of top superstars in major championship matches on premium live events.
One of the names Reigns has defended against is the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. In 2022 alone, Reigns and Lesnar have battled one another at two of WWE’s pay-per-views, WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
During his appearance on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, the Universal Champion openly discussed his rivalry with Lesnar and admitted that it helped him become more of a competitive superstar in the company.
“So I mean, yeah, I think when the competition, whether it’s outside or inside or preferably both, it’s always gonna push you know, business and just create a more competitive, aggressive atmosphere. But yeah, I mean, you know, me and Brock have we main evented at a bunch of huge shows together? I mean, we cover pretty much the full calendar year too dotting through, you know, big pay-per-views, the WrestleMania Main Event. So I would definitely say he’s been thus far my biggest rival.”
The two men wrestled in a Last Man Standing match at SummerSlam, which saw Lesnar tip over the ring using a tractor. Despite the chaos, the Tribal Chief was able to slay the Beast and retained his championship.
As for what’s ahead of Roman Reigns, it’s reported that he won’t defend the title again until next month’s WWE Saudi Arabia show.
