ROH Final Battle has a new championship match that’s been added to the card.
On the Wednesday, November 30, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta will be going at it again for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship at the company’s Final Battle pay-per-view. The bout will once again extend the rivalry between the Jericho Appreciation Society (JAS) and Blackpool Combat Club.
ROH Final Battle Lands Championship Match
Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta competed against each other earlier this year in two singles bouts, with the first one taking place at ROH Death Before Dishonor back in July. The second match took place in September. Yuta grabbed the first win, with Garcia getting the victory in the second bout, which was for the ROH Pure Championship.

Since 2019, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta have had a consistent feud, with it starting on the independent circuit.
ROH Final Battle takes place on December 10, 2022 at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, with a start time of 3:00 PM. The current card for the pay-per-view stands as:
- ROH World Championship:Chris Jericho (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli
- ROH Pure Championship: Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta
The Ring of Honor Championship match between current title holder Chris Jericho and challenger Claudio Castagnoli was set up on the Black Friday, November 25, 2022 edition of AEW Rampage, with the stipulation that if Castagnoli loses the match, he must become a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
At first, Jericho had no interest in giving Castagnoli another shot at the title, however, “Daddy Magic” got him interested after he created the stipulation. Jericho won the belt earlier this year from Castagnoli.
