Rob Van Dam Believes Triple H Is The Right Man To ‘Take The Reins’ For Pro Wrestling

Rob Van Dam Triple H

Rob Van Dam thinks Triple H is the right man for the job in WWE.

On the latest episode of 1 Of A Kind With RVD, Van Dam covered his history with Triple H in great detail and commented on the unprecedented legacy that “The Game” garnered for himself not just in WWE, but all of pro wrestling.

“I mean, if you really think about what he’s done as far as ascending in this industry, he’s made it higher than any of the boys ever. So he went from paying tuition I suppose to Walter [Killer] Kowalski in Mellon, MA back in ‘90 or ‘91 and he went through all of his years of learning and making the right moves and stuff to where he’s running the WWE. Like, dude, I think that’s pretty f*cking remarkable, you know?”

Rob Van Dam Knows Triple H Gives Credibility To The Wrestling Industry

Rob Van Dam, who also almost went to Killer Kowalski’s school, originally trained with the legendary Sheik out of Detroit. Much like Triple H, he developed an “old school” basic wrestling fundamentals mentality. Both WWE Hall Of Famers worked with one another in the competitive WWE enviroment back in the early 2000s and the two grew a respect for one another. With how much wrestling has changed in the modern era, RVD believes that the wrestling business is in good hands with The Cerebral Assassin steering the ship.

“He’s not just taking it over, but he’s continuing it in a time right now when it seems like we need somebody with credibility to grab the reins.”
