A rising WWE star’s recent Raw performance left fans divided.
On the recent July 21st episode of Raw, fans witnessed Roman Reigns get into a heated segment with Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. While Reigns delivered arguably one of his career’s best promos, Breakker’s counter to that left fans wanting more.
While Roman Reigns downgraded Paul Heyman’s contributions in his Tribal Chief run, he continued to uplift his cousins Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa’s contributions. However, as The OTC opened up about his vulnerability of requiring help from others, Bron Breakker chimed in and claimed,
“You’re yesterday’s news. You’re the old dog. Hell, you were relevant five years ago. That was your prime.”
The promo battle between the two powerhouses left fans on the internet divided. While the former NXT Champion claimed that Heyman wouldn’t betray him because of the value he held, fans on X(Twitter) started comparing Breakker’s mic skills to those of Ricochet.
“Never want to hear “Ricochet can’t cut a promo” have yall heard this guy ?
BronBreakker is a guy I’ve seen almost exclusively in clips of his spear and corner rana and I thought he looked incredible. What this promo did to his aura for me was disastrous.
BronBreakker is not a horrible promo but standing across Roman and delivering that promo? Yeah he missed. Just let Paul Heyman speak for the guy honestly.”
However, despite the negativity, several other fans on the internet started defending the rising star.
“It wasn’t a Terry Funk promo by any means, but for him to be standing across from literally the biggest star in the company in Roman Reigns, I’d say he did well enough.
I think BronBreakker was fine with his promo. Yall need to take it easy and enjoy the show
