Since arriving on the scene in WWE NXT, Nikkita Lyons has proven herself a force to be reckoned with. Her martial arts and dancing background combined with her skill and size make her a formidable talent who has a bright future ahead of her.
In a short space of time since making her debut in early 2022, the star has proven impressive. Her unique finisher that sees her do the splits on top of her opponent quickly went viral, launching her into the conversation of stars set to make waves in the years to come.
However, Lyons’ time in WWE NXT has been fraught with injury. Back in May, she was removed from the Women’s Breakout Tournament after suffering an MCL sprain. The star was supposed to take on Fallon Henley in the tournament semifinals, and while Henley was originally given a bye into the finals, she ended up accepting Tiffany Stratton’s challenge. In the end, Stratton was able to defeat Fallon Henley and moved on to the finals before Roxanne Perez emerged as the tournament’s winner.
How Long Will Nikkita Lyons Be Out Of Action Following Injury In WWE NXT?
Lyons last competed on the January 20th episode of NXT Level Up where she defeated Jakara Jackson. On the January 24th edition of WWE NXT, Lyons was attacked by an unknown assailant in wrestling’s most dangerous parking lot, thus writing her off television to recover from a knee injury she incurred facing Jackon.
Lyons took to her Twitter account to reveal more details of her injury but did not state how long she was expected to be out.

Now, on the February 21st episode of WWE NXT, Lyons appeared in a backstage segment alongside Tiffany Stratton, who insisted that she wasn’t the one to launch the parking lot attack while showing absolutely zero empathy for Lyon’s plight. In the segment, Nikkita Lyons also revealed that her physician thinks she’ll be out of action for 11-12 months due to the severity of her injury.
Elsewhere on WWE NXT, Bron Breakker retained his NXT Championship when he faced former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in the main event.
