From the moment that he first set foot in AEW, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry was beloved by the All Elite faithful.

Through his time teaming with Luchasaurus winning tag team gold and beyond when Christian and his former partner betrayed him, Perry always had the fans on his side. However, with one cheap shot, that relationship is now over.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Perry took on Sanada for the IWGP Heavyweight Title but was unable to score the win, eventually being taken out by a Moonsault. But that was only part of the story.

Jungle Boy had been accompanied into battle by HOOK as he has been in recent weeks, and naturally, the young star was on hand to help Perry back to his feet. Initially, all seemed well between the pair, but that changed with one swing of Perry’s right hand as he took out his now former friend with the cheapest of cheap shots.

The move was greeted by disgust from the fans in attendance, and Taz on commentary struggled to maintain his composure.
