Claudio Castagnoli celebrates as ROH World Champion at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022

The Ring Of Honor World Championship will be up-for-grabs on AEW Rampage.

During the 9/7 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Ring Of Honor World Champion, Claudio Castagnoli will defend his title against FTR’s Dax Harwood on the 9/9 edition of AEW Rampage.

Castagnoli made his All Elite Wrestling debut during the company’s joint ‘Forbidden Door’ pay-per-view alongside NJPW when was the mystery opponent for Zack Sabre Jr. Claudio would be victorious in his match and became an honorary member of the Blackpool Combat Club, where he’d take the spot of the injured Bryan Danielson in the stable’s Blood And Guts match, a match that BCC, alongside Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz would defeated The Jericho Appreciation Society.

‘The Swiss SuperMan’ would defeat longtime ROH World Champion, Jonathan Gresham at ROH: Death Before Dishonor to claim the Ring Of Honor World Championship, signifying the first major company’s world title that Castagnoli would capture.

Meanwhile, Harwood has been keeping himself busy as he and FTR teammate, Cash Wheeler are the current ROH, IWGP, and AAA World Tag Team Champions.
