WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has once again been asked about a possible return to TV.
The former Intercontinental Champion is the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa and has regularly given his thoughts on The Bloodline drama that has taken place over the past 4 years. Despite the fact that Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa have all fought each other, most notably the Jimmy vs. Jey match at WrestleMania 40, Rikishi has yet to make a live appearance to give his thoughts on the drama.
With fans often fantasy booking a role for the Hall of Famer, a recent pitch was for Rikishi to become the new Wiseman for The OG Bloodline, replacing Paul Heyman in the process. When asked about this pitch on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi first joked that he gets that question a lot before noting that despite his numerous projects, it could still be possible:
“[Laughs] Would you guys please stop trying to drag me in there? I’m having fun shooting the podcast, I’m having fun living the second part of life, to be able to be home and train at Knox Pro, train the new students of the game. But in this game, you never say never. Every time I go to all the signings, that’s first thing the fans always ask me. ‘When are you gonna come back? We want you to come back.’ I’m just like man, I don’t know. I guess I hear it enough, we’ll see.”
Rikishi Sends A Warning
On November 30th, the OG and New Bloodline will look to settle their differences inside WarGames at Survivor Series. At the time of writing, Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn and one partner to be confirmed will take on Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed. Ahead of the match, Rikishi issued a warning to one of the participants.
In other WWE news, one star has been announced for an international show.
H/t to Fightful.
