WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has discussed an upcoming match at WrestleMania that he will be paying very close attention to.
At WrestleMania 10 brothers Bret Hart and Owen Hart faced off in what many believe to be one of the greatest opening matches in the history of the event. 15 years later sibling rivalry would once again be presented on The Grandest Stage as Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy competed in an Extreme Rules match at WrestleMania 25. Coincidentally, 15 years later brothers will battle at WrestleMania once again as Jimmy and Jey Uso will battle it out to see who is the better brother.
While many are curious as to how the match between the current and former Bloodline members will play out, their father has given his thoughts on the upcoming contest.
Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi stated that he is really excited about the match and is happy that he was not informed about it ahead of time:
“That’s exciting news. Man, I’m excited, to be able to have the boys out there. Another historic…Bloodline, family tree, news, whatever you want to call it, but to have my two sons out there on WrestleMania finally going after it together,
This is a big deal for the whole fans everybody. You’re finally gonna see the dream match, Uso vs. Uso, Yeet vs. No Yeet. It’s gonna be exciting. I’m very happy to be the last to know about it.”
Rikishi Looks Back On His Own Iconic WWE Moment
With Jimmy and Jey Uso in the prime of their careers, the brothers will be hopeful that they will get to be a part of many more memorable moments in WWE history. During a previous interview, Rikishi recalled one of the most replayed moments in his professional wrestling career and what was going through his mind at that moment in time.
